Best Image for IPBox 9000

Hi All

I hope someone have time to give an advise on wich image is best for my ipbox 9000, if i want to have a goog mediaplayer to play DVD images and maby mkv files also.

It is important that it can find the danish channels on the DVB-T tuner, and DVB-S Channels on sirius 4,8

My setup is IPBOX 9000 + T-Rex Super module

I am using a cuberevo image right now, but there is no media player, so I have tried to use a Enigma2 image but havet found a image where I both can setup the DVB-T and DVB-S correct yet.

I hope someone can help me

Hi

I find the BMT images the most stable using the 1.0 Nessie . You have to change to your language as it starts up in some other . I find the E2 images to be be unstable and crash . I always end up going back to these images .

Has in built media player not sure if it covers all your options

Thanks, I will try that image. Do you know if it can play .vob or dvd images. Because i want to be able to play these from my NAS server, if posible.

Maybe it is posible to install a VLC player to the box?

I am still very interested in hearing other peoples opinion about the best IPbox 9000 image they have tried.

Now the best image as far as ı saw is aaf media center (usb version)

but first you have to flash it with vodka 0.11 (it is also good)then multiboot with aaf media center spring. :thum:

My question is; Why can't I choose a sattellite other than the 4 pre-configured in the image?
I want to use the sattellites SIRIUS (5.0E) and THOR (0.8W).
Any idea about how I can switch to these?

You must change the satellites.xml,i send you the right satellites with PM.
