Hello everybody,

Since I formatted my PC, I started to have problems to access to shared folders on my Network, when I try to read them azbox asks for a username and password that dont exists! I have all rights attributed to my Azbox and on my PC (with W7 SP1), in Network Settings I have the option to have a password disabled.

So, what am I doing wrong? I dont know how can I resolve this!
I'm using the latest Official Firmware from Opensat :)

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks and Regards

If you formatted the whole HDD it should work, if you did the permissions for Shared folders correctly.

If you only formatted the C partition and left D partition as it was before - problems, if your shared folders are on D, like in my case... in which case do it all from scratch...

Otherwise, I described it in detail in my guide...

Good luck!

I formatted the whole two HDDs I have and added a 1Tb External HDD, which is the only one I share with Azbox :S

The problem is that you have not formatted the USB HDD. And it has permissions set from before, from the previous OS installation, it seems to me. That screws your permissions up...

Try editing them.

Delete all the permissions on USB HDD or go to default, if you have that option. Reboot!

Then, redo them... Reboot.

Good luck!
