Arabsat launches Sudanese bouquet

Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) and Sudanese television have signed a contract to add the Nileen sports channel to Arabsat bouquet.

The sports channel will be exclusively on the Badr 5 satellite and will be broadcast from Arabsat platform in Khartoum. The Nileen sports channel has the exclusive rights to broadcast the Sudanese Premier League, as it’s considered the most popular watched sports channel in Sudan.

Arabsat also signed with Sudan Television a contract to broadcast the Sudanese TV channels on the Arabsat bouquet on Badr 5.

Mohammed Hatem Suleiman, head of Sudan television, said in a statement the relationship between the Sudanese television and Arabsat is a long-lasting, continuous and strong on. He also confirmed his wishes to increase cooperation between the two parties to broadcast all Sudanese channels now and in the future on Arabsat satellites .

Eng. Khalid ben Ahmed Balkhyour president and CEO of Arabsat expressed his pleasure with the Sudanese TV channels wishing for those in charge of them all success and he stressed that Arabsat is always keen be close to its customers to meet their requirements and to provide all aspects of support to ensure their success in providing their media message.
