Antena 3 Will Launch New Network
After its association with La Sexta, Antena 3 will start 2012 by expanding its TV offer with the release of Nodo, a new network aimed at a demographic that watches a significant amount of TV: senior citizens.
Following its new association with La Sexta, Antena 3 is currently working on its new network Nodo, aimed at senior citizens, which will replace the La Sexta 2 network. Nodo will be included in Antena 3's TV offer, which already includes three other networks: Nova for women, Nitro for men and Neox for teens.
Nodo will be created to fill a void that was left within the target after ads were removed from TVE: the ads for certain products aimed at this demographic didn't fit with any of the current networks. Nodo is aimed at a loyal audience that watches great amounts of television.
The new network's lineup will include classic series such as Falcon Crest and The Golden Girls, in addition to a newscast named El Parte -allegedly hosted by Alfredo Urdaci- and programming to teach grandparents how to take care of their grandchildren.
