I have super setup dish 42E - 30W but:

On my regret,I think about NFL feed,and this season 100% feed exceeds from 07.E to 10.E

EUTELSAT 7A (7.0°E) 27.08.2015. --> EUTELSAT 10 (10.0°E) 28.08.2016.
12610 H 7500 DVB-S2 8PSK 5/6

On 07.E I had excellent signal but now (this days) on 10.E on Dreambox I have signal 45-50%
and TBS card 0%.
Do you have any tricks & tips?

I can`t access to LNB in this moment and move a little bit.
I don`t know what is the reason for low signal but if someone found alernativ Symbol Rate for this feed
that would be great.

TBS card:
When I type in 12610 H 7500, signal is 0% and i can`t lock.

When used EBSpro and scan I get this
Signal is there, but Dream and Prog. can`t see

I am no expert but as we get in DVB-S2 HD Quality of signal becomes an issue.

So a relative strong or acceptable signal is not good enough.

Think in quality as when for any unknown condition 1 bit flips from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0. It produces an error in video.

In DVB-S we could received a small amount on bit error and the Video survive. But in HD this bit errors become a big trouble. And Video can not recuperate.

In general you will be affected as you get higher FEC or higher demodulation QPSK, 8PSK, 16PSK, 32PSK. Things that you see as you get better quality HD Video.

Again I am no expert but a bigger antenna usually is the best answer. Then a Better LNB. In the past in QPSK we look just at Noise figure.

But in HD the Stability of the Local Oscillator becomes a BIG issue. As it it self will produce bit errors as LO frequency deviates from its center. Temperature can be a factor as it it self move the LO. But just the Stability of the PLL is a factor.

Now the problem with LNB is that commercial LNB are in the $1000 range and the Customer Lnbs you never really know what is the actual stability factor as they lie on the label.

So we all end up purchasing a new LNB just to try, best hope. To end up buying a new Bigger antenna.

Definitly something with beams, I'll kill myself because of this NFL Feed.

This is the best I can !

On TBS card I tried everything but nothing. Signal 0%
TBS card really disappointed me because I expected from TBS and low signals - peace of cake for catch.

On Dreambox
Signal is pretty stable and without any problems, BER (View picture please).



But when come autumn and winter (rain, strong wind, blizzard, snow, ice and temperatures fall under 0°C.)
all sat nfl hunters over the Europe (No Brit.) will have problems with signal on this transponders.
I pray for solution,RRmedia do something about signal strength

Yes, 15W works perfectly for centuries and then I decide which game/match I like. Also 15W doesn`t have SNF and MNF on HD.

On 7E it was great, after europe football just type freq. without move dish

Just seen barneys post regarding byu channels on 15w for nfl games, is this replacing the normal fta 15w feed? If not what's the deal with it, different games?

We will have to wait and see
Last season BYU showed FTA NFL Games on 15W aswell as NBS Sport Feed FTA too ..but i believe the only reason for testing Powervu Encryption on BYU is due to NFL games ,
its not 100% certain by any means but hopefully this will happen .

I had a similar issue.

In the first game on friday (10E 12620 H 7500) I got around 9.1db and 20% signal Quality from EBSpro (using TBS 5925). VU+ solo SE did not even show anything.

I aligned the LNB a tiny bit and it helped.

I tried tonights game (Cardinals-Patriots) and it gave me 9.5db and 100% SQ.

But it droped significantly by time (without me adjusting anything). It became unwatchable @ 3/4 with 9.4db and 20/0% SQ and disappeared at all in 4/4.

It just felt that the signal got weaker and weaker by every minute.

Weather did not change at all (clear sky).

I will try to make more adjustments with LNB if mondays games will be on there.

PS. I have 1.8m dish.
