I can confirm BISS "AU" does work on some channels using latest 2.10 firmware (22.6.17) on Starsat 2000HD Hyper.
I've tried a few BISS channels on 7°E for which the keys are not in the firmware data base.
Some update after a minute or so - BUT ONLY when there are publicly posted active keys
The other remain black even after 10 minutes of waiting. eg
f100-SSI main.
Thus it is NOT true auto-update but simply downloading known keys from a remote database.

As I said, only beginners believe this .... with so much time of registration you should already know this !!!

It s my hobby u know ... So another receiver is another world for me and i can try how it works... I believe it when i See with my own eyes ...and if it s not work who cares ? Start rainbow table than and geht key with GPU no Problem

Some keys that were found i do not recall seeing this key anywhere like for example Speedway World Cup feed from Sweden , TNA PPV etc..
those feeds was never sending any Real Crypt8 but yet Starsat Box was able to find a key and it worked so it can not be all bad news i think : ))

No,is not so bad,the only problem is to fund an invention using free public information.

let's put it this way : we can make a script or plugin for all dreambox that run when the biss key is not found or is wrong,and fetch it from several public sites,like this one and others.
I mean,is not the coolest invention,but should work as well.
There are already plugins to download an updated softcam.key file,given there is site that offers an updated ,every 5 minutes,softcam.key
I guess the only real catch is they decided to insert this features in a receiver firmware.
And again,a server will run until they want to or need to.
