ABCom Image _r7219_(ABCom Webinterface) Out

in the begining of this post,i see the imgae file. i download the image. but the file inside is BIN file,and flash tools look for img files.

where can i find the usb_update_7219.img, i find only BIn file,not img file.

there is a link to the img file on page two of this thread (rapidshare) or you can download it from http://download.abcom.sk//index.php?&direction=0&order=&directory=02 AB IPBOX HD/08 9000HD_Images you need to register first to allow downloads. I had problems when i renamed my bn to image (the box did not work properly) i downloaded from ab com the usb image and it has worked fine since (do not if it was because i changed the file extension or if it was a bad download)

you dont have to rename, just press on "files of type" and choose .bin

Cant change root password.

That only changes the webinterface password, it doesnt change telnet/ftp

use the image for few days now, very disappointed, not stable, black screen even when mfcamd shoe that channles is work, and many others.

Hi friends ...
Still not happy with the stability of this official image..
Its better now than when I first installed it ..
It became more stable several re-boots after installation ...plus after ftp-ing in my own channel list ..
Sadly the box still 'panics' occasionally ...and often without provokation ..
..say whilst watching tv
..or just selecting a menu option ..
No hard and fast rules as to why this happens ...in just does it whan it feels like it.

Hi to all, I have this box for a week, I´am a new user of this kind of box. So far I have had learning (reading in the foros).
First I load a Sifteam image and mgcamd, but the box wasn`t fine.
Today I load the uboot 1.3.1 and after this image and addon and all work fine.
I´am happy whith this.

To change telnet pasword use pc editor/options/pc editor settings/receivers/your receiver/web user name and password.
