7°E: From 27.04 new parameters for TVP Polonia

Polish Television reduce lease satellite capacity on board the satellite W3A (7°E), belonging to the operator Eutelsat Communications. Audience channel TV Polonia are informed about the change of technical parameters of the said item. On the night of 26 to 27 April 2011 at 22:00 UTC channel TV Polonia has switched to a new frequency of 11.190 GHz, pol. V, SR 6666, FEC: 3/4, DVB-S.

This means that the parameters of the current multiplex 11.185 GHz, pol. V, SR 13333, FEC: 7/8, DVB-S, no longer function. This capacity is not only used to transmit TV Polonia, but also TVP1, TVP 2, TVP INFO TV Belsat and INT6 . If the primary channels TVP1 and TVP 2 will be completely removed (or rather, that happens), it kablówek operators who collected the signal from 7 degrees East, will have to immediately switch to satellite ASTRA 1KR (19.2°E). Here it must be emphasized that the issue of basic channels TVP is conducted in the newer MPEG-4 format, which requires an appropriate receiver. Message from the 7°E is carried in the basic MPEG-2.

Postal TVP's main canal in the MPEG-2 at 7°E was reopened at the end of May 2010. The issue was to ensure continuity in the program distribution operators having problems with the transition to MPEG-4 from 19.2°E.

Technical parameters of the multiplex TVP 19.2°E:

Astra 1KR (19.2°E)
tp. 59 (10.862 GHz, pol. H, SR 22000, FEC: 7/8; DVB-S/QPSK)
