5402 M3 - Video Settings

Every time i restart the unit, it resets the video setting to AUTO. I want it fixed at 1080. The problem with auto, is it then switches the resolution for every channel change, which makes it take up to 2 seconds to change a channel, rather than keeping it locked in 1080 mode and the channels change smoothly.

I have gotten in the habit, of resetting it every time i start the unit, but what a pain.

I keep my 5402 m3 at 1080i also but it never changes when I power it up. What patch are you using? I'm on patch 1.39.

I am running an older one. I didn't want to have to re-enter all my keys in again. When you say you power down, can you TURN THE POWER OFF in the back of unit, and turn it back on and it comes back in 1080 mode???

Always, either hard(back) or soft(remote) boot. I too regret having upgraded to 1.39 as it took me for ever to reenter they keys.
