So the boxes that cost 50-100 and support powervu, are of the same possibilities/hardware like these 400+ enigma2 boxes?
You compare apples and oranges here... and not by mistake...

For everyone's information :
There are 4 CW hash modes (0x01 to 0x04 )
There are 40 hash modes (0x0F to 0x27 )apart from the normal ones.(0x0A)
Many modes use tables to calculate results.
Asking what could the cheap boxes open or can't is a moot point because any of this can be used at any time.
So,if you think about it,maybe letting the providers win battles might just keep freeware in the game longer.
In any case, instead of praising the chinese boxes, you should ask if is not really them the ones killing the hacks by producing cheap boxes that put the providers in attack mode.
The ones killing this hobby are the ones that commercialize the hacks, always were.
Freeware was never meant to make money with, and stayed in the game the longer.
Makes no sense people complaining that chinese boxes are ahead of freeware, when they are the reason the providers need to make countermeasures.
See the irony? complain about something that is free, and praise something that produce the end of the hack.
Silly people.
