Both are correct.
oscam-emu also fixed DES paritiy, so it is "more" cvorrect than AltDVB, but both work, because des parity does not matter.

Anyone managed to get soemthing to work with oscam? I tried HBO on my VuSolo2 and oscam/osemu but there's no picture.

OHHH Boy, I feel s7up1d. I know I guess I am answering my self. I guess this work like the parity bytes in Biss!!

But if this is true just parity bytes/bits it can be possible to create a fix to use Fausto/Vplug and a receiver? Or there is something else?

I know we need a Clean network due to fast ECM per seconds. But we could try.

I understand vu+ duo uses AVL6211 twin tuner. I seen on some forum something like:
Cryto System ... PowerVu (by Ev0)
So do you know, if apart from its name, does the AVL6211 tuner in vu+ duo 'can it do powervu demodulation?'

DCW is correct but..

the most widely used method of decoding:
encrypted(audio,video) -> CSA-[DCW] -> decryped (audio,video)

PV:
encrypted(audio,video) -> DES-ECB [DCW] -> decryped (audio,video)

altdvb used modified csa.dll with DES-ECB

if the receiver does not have a hardware DES would be a problem with reception
there is a theoretical possibility of use of the software DES ...
