C-Tech 3100HD 1.24p

Hello,

Where do I press "MUTE 3 5 7 0 [pin] ADVANCE"?
When I press Mute 3570 the reciever does not ask me for my pin...

Any help would be much appreciated.

CS Admin menu only mode, key input MUTE, 3,5,7,0
Then enter the PIN for admin mode by pressing the Advance key (-> |)

After searching I have found the below re CS Menu...

Do I need to install module_002p for CS Menu on 3100HD 1.24p?

Then do I access it using "MUTE 3 5 7 0 [pin] ADVANCE" or "8281"?

module_002p for CT's with LAN connection: serving. Hidden menu 8281 (+ Newcamd CCcam)

CT3100HD
CT5000CPlus from 204p
CT5100HDC
etc.

Update steps !!
1.Download software first wait until reboots.
2.Download module_002p wait until reboots.
3.Save your settings by USB or rs232
4.Make a factory reset and switch OFF (mainpower switch on the rear) the receiver for around 1 minute.
5.Receiver again turn on, make an auto channel scan or upload the saved settings and
make auto channel scan to upgrade the channellist etc...

Now you can also use the hidden menu 8281 !!

CS server parameter file upload / download;

Uploading / to store: In 8281 hidden menu> Press [GROUP] key on "Server List" menu.

Downloading: Go to "Main menu"> "Storage"> "Data Transfer". Press [OK] key on the filename in the file list.

Server parameters file is a text file. You can edit it with any text editor like windows of "notepad.exe".

I tried to update the firmware (module_002p.stb) via USB and it said 100% but after 5 attempts the menu still did not appear. I then decided to test and update the firmware back to the original (non-P) via USB and it again said 100% but when I went to system info the 'P' was still there so obviously my box is not updating correctly via USB. Has anyone else had any issue with updating via USB? Thanks
