Mgcamd problem

hi m8 , regarding ur mgcamd 1.37 for gemini e2 mipsel tar.gz

whenever i sent it to temp & do manual instal **** it says fail due to tar magic file incorrect & unproper same as for mgcamd1.36

what method u using to open & uncompress tar.gz file ???

i tried a lot to manual instal these e2 mipsel gp3 file with manual instal in gp3 images but the tar.gz file is not ok & not proper compressed coz it always shows failure to open it

please help to find a solution for these tar.gz files

is these recent files for gp3 e2 mipsels for for mgcamd r properly working & can be installed without a prob ? , why i am the only one complaining about these tar.gz files , these r invalid magic tar.gz as it always write so whenever i manually install them from temp folder! any suggestion??!!!

do you have any other version of mgcamd installed, if so download mgcamd 1.37 rename the mgcamd _1.37.bin to the same that you have already installed,you will find it in usr/bin or var/bin then just ftp the renamed one and over write the old one.

though it will be called something else it will actually be mgcamd 1.37

& i thought these files r for gp3 , so now the point is clear that they r not for gp3, so i s there is a way to creat or to have ipk for gp3 for these files

ya this method i applied previouly & tried a lot , but unfortunatly cam doenst shown in gp3 blue panel , but no problem i will try again carefully & will chmod all files 755 & will fully restart & hope i can see the mgcamd1.37 dispalyed in blue banel , thanx for help

ya that is my post sheer :beer:

i finally got emu named as mgcamd1.37 running after editing script & emu 1.35a inside my box by DCC ( this was the last method which done the job )
