Beginning October 29, Apple is running an iPhone Tech Talk World Tour that will run through December 15 and span nine countries in North America, Europe, and Asia. A similar event took place last year as well, though it covered a much larger area on the globe, visiting 24 different cities around the world.

The iPhone Tech Talk is a one-day event that runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and gives developers a chance to get familiar with creating software for the iPhone and learning to work with the tools of the trade. For old hands, it is a good opportunity to interact with some of the very people who worked on the iPhone SDK and get some tips and tricks out of them.

This year's event will take place in Beijing, Hamburg, London, New York, Paris, San Jose, Seattle, Tokyo, and Toronto and is free to attend. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis and the venues in San Jose, London, New York, and Tokyo are all booked up even as I type this, so hurry up already if you want to get in on the action.
