Netflix raises prices in Netherlands

Most Netflix subscribers in the Netherlands will have to pay more for the service with immediate effect.

According to NL Times, they are now charged an additional €3 and €2 a month for the Standard and Premium package respectively, with only the basic package remaining unchanged.

Standard subscriptions offer content in HD and Premium in 4K, while basic subscriptions have lower image quality.

The basic, Standard and Premium subscriptions now cost €7.99, €13.99 and €15.99 a month respectively.

NL Times notes that this is the first price increase in the Netherlands for four years.
