Vantage firmware WARNING

02.460 firmware very unstable with to many problems, had to go back to version 02.440 very stable no problems at all.

Do you knoe whether that emuware version is also unstable on Vantage HD 8000 sat receivers ?

Yes, I completely agree with ALAN1. Vantage has like a dysplasia by every new SW, starting from 246. I personally renounced the brand.

I've no problems with 246. It's working very fine with my 7100 (to avoid problems made a reset to factory default).

Please forgive me my lack of knowledge but - what is the big deal about a new soft that is not fully to satisfaction ?

There is absolutely no problem to go back to a previous version ???

I find no reasons what so ever to label this post "WARNING"

I did go for this version - found out that the subtitles on HD channels was a mess so a reinstalled previous version and at the end of the day that was no big deal.

Finally I just hope that the Vantage developer-team will keep up their fantastic work and I hope that they will not be too depressed by posts like this.
