Lithuanian# cable deal on horizon

Tele 2 #is on the verge of selling its cable interests in Lithuania.
According to VZ#, the Swedish company, which employs the C Gates# brand name, is in talks with a number of possible buyers including the incumbent telco TEO LT and cable operators Balticum and Init.
TEO LT#, which is the leading provider of DTT and IPTV services in Lithuania, has confirmed its participation in the talks.
C Gates# currently has around 35,000 subscribers in the capital, Vilnius.
The sale# is being undertaken with the participation of #Swedbank
