Hi,

In old firmware files there were a biss.key file, I do not know if in the last ones are too. In any case, if you can obtain this biss.key file I give two options by saving this file in an usb in the receiver:

1. With the usb connected to the receiver do a telnet to the receiver:

telnet ip

after login, execute command

mount
to see the path of the mounted usb in my case is /tmp/UD0

cd /tmp/UD0

and the execute vi biss.key

then you can edit the file (see vi commands in google)

save the file and then import this file with the emu.

2. The second option is by editing the file in your pc with a notepad or any kind of program.

To do this, ftp to the receiver:

ftp ip

cd /tmp/UD0

get biss.key

edit the file in your computer and save, then ftp again

ftp ip

cd /tmp/UD0
put biss.key
then import the file with the emu.

in both options I have assumed that the usb is mounted in /tmp/UD0

I hope that it can help

Tiniebla

Question Octagon SX 88 SE WL

Hello everyone, I need your help about the Octagon SX88 SE WL, otherwise I'm stuck ... I bought
this decoder after a long survey conducted on the web, mainly tending to evaluate its characteristics and options
intervention that could be accessed. I state that my interest was mainly aimed at the ability to blind scan the multistream channels "T2MI (PLP, PLS), Root, Gold without entering parameters", which is now also useful in the prosperity of "Feed Hunter" activities. At this point, I bought the SE WL model which at the first start up asked me to update it via internet to version 1.05.69 of 04.11.2021 which I did. Currently in the CAM settings, there are entries for THCAM, OSCAM, MultiCAS information, CA Key Editor (Bisss) with a Patch entry which takes me to an EMU list with all PowerVu voices plus "DRE" base and optimum. Before buying it, I knew that it had an original firmware on board and that alternatively I could find an unofficial FW that would have allowed me to play better ... I ask you where can I find the latest version of this "unofficial". On the web I searched for a useful version of this patch and found -OCTAGON_SX88plus_SW_EU_V10472_150818- that the decoder does not load. Currently I have tried to tune T2MI channels, entering the known parameters, but I don't see them, so I need the correct fw patch, or I make some mistakes. and how to start taking the right path. While waiting, thank you for the attention you may wish to pay me, thanks again.
