Hi there,

I'm in need of some help with this box. Is anyone on this forum familiar with this box? Harmonic wants to charge $300 an hour for service help.

Thanks,

If you thought to buy this device for 4;2;2 chroma sampling, yes it is the right device. This device decodes 4;2;2 on a hardware-based, that is, without any extra strain on the processor. Because this device is a device produced for commercial purposes. The price is therefore expensive.

In customer electronics; More affordable compounds can be used for 4;2;2 analysis.

Windows Media Players + Satellite TV cards etc

Windows Media Players; "Intel Coffe Lake" architecture should be chosen. Of course, in the analysis made with this compound; It should be noted that "4;2;2" will only be solved software-based. With the processor I have specified; CPU usage will be around 35%. ( An acceptable rate. )
