For lazy bones who do not like reading even a little bit and searching on the forum even less...

Install PBNIGMA image to DOM > blue button > PB Centre > mount a fast USB memory stick > RESTART!

MENU > PLUGINS > Install OpenMultiBoot plugin.

FTP to the box > send a zipped image you want to flash (to USB stick from now on, not to DOM!) to /media/usb/open-multiboot-upload folder.

Go to OpenMultiBoot plugin and choose an image to install > it will go to restart...

When it restarts go to OMB plugin again and try to flash the image you just uploaded to the folder I mentioned, as will be obvious in the menu of the plugin...

Having installed the image to the USB stick - have fun experimenting...

But I gave my AZbug to a friend, so I can't test the latest stuff... So, you tell me, plus the reasons for it... ;)

OpenSPA 5.0.006 is released.
I just tested it.
It runs ok, but a bit slow. But at least it works without crashing so far. I installed using Oscam 1.20 and it works well with internal cardreader.

Do not install to many plugins if you are on standard DOM, or it will be full.
Only issue I found is that the parental control have a small bug. That is if you enable it to protect your channels, it will also ask for pin code just for entering the menus. There is an option for "protect screens", but it doesnt matter if you set this to yes or no.

Currently at version 6.0. They continue to creaty nightly builds, so these images are VERY fresh and most likely untested. In the forum there are two main categories - Receivers with support and Receivers without support. Azbox belongs to the last category, and judging from some of the threads these images are not to stable on azbox.

Persian Empire - Think rc7.r166 (2014?) migh have been the latest version released for azboxhd, r175 for azboxME, but I never found a working link for these images.

I short update regarding latest images for AzboxHD.

OpenESI have released OpenESI 5.0 (06-aug-2017)
HDMU is updated at version 17343 (19-jul-2017)
OpenATV 6.0 is continuing their daily builds (14-aug-2017)

no new images from the OpenLD team or OpenSpa since last post
