The new receivers SK or RSA can be read by using UP chip readers. The problem when I tried was software as there wasnt anything on the public that would work with the CAK7 type rom.

Dish receivers dump is in BGA chip you can get secondary key 96 bytes total 128 hex number you can get, in oscam you won't be able to add secondary key which is called SK keys, you have to option if you want oscam i used oscam long time ago only some version old oscam version have cam_n option
FRom secondary key put 64 digits in cam_n first 8 digits are ird hex then next 20 are useless then 16 Y1 box & card married now from 45 to 108 are cam_n add cam_n then next 16 are box key add in box key last for chuckskum add if any option in oscam not necessary so cam_N & box key rest config accordingly, caid 1816 i think ident 0101 that's all

Any north American folks able to use dish or bell using oscam? Don't see any north American forum talking about it

You need to extract additional data from the receiver SW for oscam.

Don't have it yet, I was wondering if people in north America has done it or they gave up. Unfortunately there is Noone talking about north America specifically, last conversion is dated 202

From what I remember data could only be extracted from older receiver models, and a subscription was still needed; oscam talked to a subscribed card with a card reader. Also, genpix stopped making the card that could tune to turbo-coded 8PSK transponders and I don't know if there is any other option.

Yes, not sure how subscriptions are now done with dish, I wouldn't be surprised if it's cardless, only subscribers with dish who have this hobby can probably tell us the actual situation but it's hard to male them talk, it's almost a taboo. Hopefully one can still step up and tell us either here or pm

No. Simply. Don't. There are spies out there that will collect your info and then one day, surprise. I have a friend who found out the hard way. N got rid of cards a few years ago. And those with older receivers getting an ecm would have a burned unit that was unusable. Requiring that they 'build' an entire new system. Just purchasing a t8psk receiver or add in module raises flags. You should see the list of info. they grabbed as they built the case on him. It was extensive and thorough. Just not worth it. You're probably right and anyway we don't have any info out there nowadays anyway
