Have been thinking about ways of getting the stream from the DVB-s/s2 card in the AZBox HD to stream out to your local network.
So thought i would start this thread to see if we could create a brain storm thread to help developers.
The thought i have would be the following:
Get a latest version of VLC, or lite version that could be installed on the azbox hd.
Then simply get vlc to run and duplicate the stream that would be outputted by the hardware.
The main problem this faces at the moment would be how to identify the DVB-S/S2 card for vlc to connect to it.
It would be too much for the AZBox to convert or recode the stream, however, if you used another version of VLC on your PC, you could then reproduce the stream to any format of your choice, to then stream elsewhere, i.e to your lap top when your at work etc.
Any thoughts..?????
