Where does SIS appear in the index on 4.8E

Hi everyone -- Merry Xmas etc.

I have recently installed a 90 cm KU dish to track 4.8E in S.Africa. The signal strength isn't great, but manage to get an index to appear, with audio on a few channels, but no video thru DVB software, thou the video does work on a TV.

I was specifically looking for the S.I.S. racing etc, but cannot find it in the index.

Am a long way from home etc .. can anyone post a pic of the index they get on their set-up, and I will persevere etc.

Here are pics as to what I am seeing on my PC.

Those channels are on the Europe beam... in South Africa you are *way* outside the footprint, which extends only to the northern coast of Africa.

(How do u tell which beam contains which channels etc)

Lyngsat, kingofsat etc list which beam each transponder is on, and have links which will take you to the footprint maps for those beams.

or use CrazyScan for speed check spectrum signal

Maybe this helps someone else.

Here are 2 pics .. I pressed Europe, on the 12418 line, and it brings u up the map of what the coverage is. V useful.



I cannot post 2nd image of map .. as files exceeded. Will try later.

Keep in mind keys change 6am on a daily basis ,
i have read that most likely in the immediate future a New Unknown Hash mode will be introduced in January to prevent public posting of KEYS hopefully you get it working before this happens .

in your PC scan https://www.lyngsat.com/packages/StarSat.html package,
maybe Virtual Games in Conax or check scrambled system in setup channel,
S.I.S. transponders out of beam
