MENU->User Preferences->Language->Subtitles (Current Channel)
For DVB Subtitles there is also a fix available. I'll add it soon..must change the skin xml file to be read the DVB Subtitles with normal size. National character set is not well supported. Many times it has been reported in the bug report under Enigma2.
