did you get a 232 board with your box or does it have a sticker underneath it or in the box saying V2.0

Thanks a lot for all replies.
the nfi image worked, device boots up fine.
@brummie:
But i still cannot tell if its a clone(i live in iran and its a hell of work to install tsocks and get network working on this thing)

does the remote control have VU+ on it??... if not its a clone. also the clone has a sticker on the front/top/left with a message saying dont use software from other place. regards mdt

i have exactly the clone in that article, it does not accept cfe so i cannot load any new firmware. no way to get serial communication to pugrade flash chip like max vu solo (that i own too). hope someone find jtag solution for this
