perhaps you can use the same solution as mentioned in this thread
http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=213127 Maybe can you enter rescue mode, by press and hold volume+ on the remote while turning on the power. I could also be as easy just to put a firmware image (patch.bin) on an usb stick and restart the box and see if it can start an update. You might need to try different usb ports, I dont remember if it requires you to use a specific port or not. Last edited by amyren; 02-03-2017 at 23:02..
