Recording EMM/ECM with OsMio 4k

A member here requested a 20 minute TS file to assist in finding a pv key. He mentioned that not enough info was contained in the file to help.

I'm running OpenATV 6.3.
For logging I use The Last Darkkar, plus pvhe 2.1.1.
I don't have a DVB card.

What methond or how would I get a good TS file?
Do I need to use another image instead of OpenATV?

The latest Darkkar does not have direct support for pvu. You have to manually put the pid and it should work fine.

131W tp 3780 H SID 225 or any others on that tp.

Manually put pid in which tab where and then what?
I have dvbsnoop on the receiver so it does show in drakkar.

Thank you. This all sounds easy for the guy who does it every day.
So how do I then what do I do with it once it's recorded?
What about the member who suggested I record with ECM a TS file that would be many times the size of the 20 minute I linked him to that only had EMM he couldn't use to help me?
Can you teach me please?

I can send you the EMM keys if that's what you need, if you need ECM keys I will need to extract them from my receiver or record the data stream to find them.

So you can use a receiver. Cool. How could I record the stream correctly if I'm not already doing it? Reading a bit here on dvbsnoop. Drakkar has its own little scripts for it I see.

Drakkar, PVHE

Hi Arlog,
Looks like you have Last Drakkar setup correctly to log EMM. One thing, make sure to hit "clear log" before hitting "Start"
Let it create the log, I usually wait for 10000 EMMs or more.
Then hit stop and open the log in PVHE if correct you will get this message in PVHE:
"Now click at start button to start the brute force."
Hit start button and wait...

Absolutely how I use it. Again, I was asked to record a TS stream though with ECM included. He said mine only had EMM in it.
I don't see the option in OpenATV 6.3 recording to include it.
To bad I can only get very vague hints here and scouring the 'net and forums draws a blank.
If I had the ability to record a TS proper, I could play it in one of the TS readers with pv emu and find the keys myself.

dvbsnoop -n 200 -s ts -b 0x5a > ts-stream.pid0x5a.file
Dump 200 packets of PID 0x5a in transport stream mode to an image file.
The raw datastream will be dumped in the specified stream mode (PES, SECTION or TS).
This file can be used, to postprocess the dvb data streams.

dvbsnoop -b -n 1000 -s ts -tsraw > ts_file.bin
Dump full TS (very few devices support this option)

dvbsnoop -b -n 1000 -s ts -tsraw > ts_file.bin
I will get an error? Or will it look like it's doing its thing?
How many packets would you suggest for:
dvbsnoop -n 200 -s ts -b 0x5a > ts-stream.pid0x5a.file

Also in pvhe I am using an RTX 2060 in an Asus gaming laptop.
For Blocks and Threads I try to tweak the setting to run the fastest attempts per second before it freaks out with gazillions of them. You know..xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx.
I use a multiples of 32 table to try to get as many per second as I can and tweak the Threads setting too.
I can get around 170,000,000-240,000,000 before the freak out.
Is it correct to get the fastest I can?
Some EMM/ECM logs from drakkar have been run for days with only false results.
Suggestions?

150 to 170 million per second is all you need with PVHE, I will see if I can record the data stream and test it for you, then I will send you a PM.
