Default Strong SRT 4922B+ entry to firmware

I had the misfortune to purchase a Strong SRT 4922B+ Upon start up I found that it was locked on the Middle East. I was eventually able to locate firmware that gave me the satellites in the Asia/Pacific region but this was very old. No problem I thought because I would be able to add satellites to the list. This is where things came unstuck.

In their infinite wisdom Strong have not seen fit to provide a means of adding new satellites. The nearest I can get is to edit existing satellites which is ok except it is not possible to alter the coordinates.

At the bottom of the satellite list there are a number of entries marked 00 degrees that could be used but there is no means of adding data.

I have exchanged numerous emails with Strong Technical Support and all they have been able to advise is how to edit a satellite.

Editing the satellite list that is buried in the firmware would be one way but so far, using numerous FTP programs I have been unable to gain entry.

Any help would be appreciated.
