VU+ Duo, are you happy with it?

I might buy a new box soon (World Cup coming) How do you rate VU Duo for value for money, would you recommend it?

yes i will recommend this box..
i rate VU Duo for value for money 9 out 10
i have used dm800 hd but i like this box better...

can you load Barry Allen in flash and boot from usb?


Is unofficial image etc. with emu available in flash image?

I think CCcam work as server and client?

this box works like a dream box. you can do every think wat you do with dream box.

you can load barry allen to this box.
good support on this box..yes emu avilable...
yes cccam works as server and client....

yes you can but still more work to be done to use 100% dm8000 image
i am useing pli image for now. works perfect so far ...
or u can use The Official image
or VTI Image
or dm 8000 image
but as i say best image is for now is the pli image. for me

PLI image in flash.
Do not use VTI+BA and then DM8000 image, because its not very stable.

i found only one UK online seller with VU+, £399 but out of stock for now.

The other box I was looking at is QBox HD but they do not have licence to run CCcam legally so no server? It's a shame that V+ does not have a tuner slot for DVB-T, ideally I would like on sat tuner and one freeview tuner for the new hdtv services starting this year.

QBox HD out more then yaer now but still its not very stable and cccam only one way works...i will not recoment...
vu+duo tuner is built in so you cant put deffrent tuner.
i got my box from germany servis is very fast. i got my box in 2-3 days.payd via paypal ebut £430 that incl.vat p&p........you can get freewiew box from £15 to £50.....any uk shops...

What about the mediaplayer function of vu+ duo?
What video formats is it able to play? It decodes DTS audio?

no dm8000 images not stable yet.but pli they are released every single day pli images...
and this image just the same as dm8000 images...

What about flash memory and ram? what size are they?
Still no answer for decoding divx...dm8000 decodes, and about dts decoding wich again is decoded by dm8000

Kathi has a problem with small internal memory. but with VU has not have this problem..386MB RAM
