I need Help to understand Biss key

Hi Guys,

I am newbie on this forum. i have confusion with BISS keys always love to learn how you guys make it, i want to learn and understand how you describe in easy and simple words.

I have attached a screen shot of a BISS key which illustrate my question in more detail. i am hoping a guru to help me out

F > stand for type of encryptation used by chs ( which is a constant key all so consider as constant cw keys so F will be used , other r N= nagra , S= seca , V = viaccess ...etc)

0001 > is the service ID of ch

1FFF > is ecm pid of the encryptation

00 & 01 > are 2 raws of 16 bit keys of decrypted constant words
of the ch.
