Default HD6000.. issues with port during server set-up

Hi.
Im relatively new to this. I'm setting a newcamd and when I get to the port section there are 5 digits but my port has only 4. Is there any way to delete one of the digits. Ive tried putting zero before the port numbers and also after it but nothing works// Can anybody help please
