how can I extract the file??
I did by WinRAR and winzip
and same thing I can not find nfi. file

but I don't know why when I extract the file I get too many errors in the WinRAR
so whats the best way to extract the file??

no need to extract the file, download it and immediately inserted after the response to the browser.

the browser dosent respond it takes me to the box tool webpage it does not go to firmware upgrade page
I tried explorer and chrome
same thing

What do you need to update the firmware:

You need a browser and a network cable.
Connects the Dreambox directly to a PC you need a "cross-over" (rotated) network cable, connect
Her trough a switch / hub / router you need a "Non-Cross" (not twisted) network cable.


- Turns off the dreambox, use this menu item "shut down" from the Shutdown / Standby Menu
and switch the Dreambox off at the power switch.

Standby is not enough!
- (1.) Press the Power - button on the front panel and hold it down.
Turn the Dreambox on again at the power switch.


- (2.) Wait for the display to Counter "Enter Setup 3 2 1 .....


- (3) Ye can now let go of the button.
The bootloader is now in "wait mode".
It should be the text "*** *** Rescue Mode" appear in the display.
- Now Öffnent a browser on your PC.
(1) Give now the IP address into the address field of the browser "http: //dm780...../" a.
(give the indicated IP address of the display of the box).


(2) Press the Source Selector "firmware upload" the displayed page in Browser.-On the next page you can select the flash image you want to flash the box.
Please pay attention to the file extension * .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, tar.xz that dub
other images is not possible (like .img)!
