Hello Dear FaDeL®

I'm trying for the first time Make your moves step by step On Win 10 Pro 64 Bit operating system

1- I downloaded the HashTab v6.0.0.34 file At the end of the installation it is in the folder C:\ Program Files (x86) And after that this link appears

2 - I'm trying to download ChainAuthor.map on the colibri site
But unfortunately I get a link with Gibberish language

3 - I downloaded CSA-Rainbow-Table-Tool_V2.05
4 - I downloaded CSA-Rainbow-Table-Tool-V2 Documentation_V1.00.pdf

What should be done now ???

When opening V2.5
Choose ChainAuthor as PIC
A file selection window will appear ChainAuthor
selcet ChainAuthor map And click OK

These are tough days because of the Corona virus !!!
This is a very difficult time for me I'm barely out of the house

I went through Sections 5-6 see attached pictures

Section 7 = The following was written:
In the windows explorer create a RBT directory that you want to use and enter it in the field “RBT you”
Enter size 107 and click 11 times “Add to list”
Enter size 103 and click one time “Add to list”
Enter a RBT name e.g. “RBT”
Click “OK” and the files will be created very fast.

two questions

1 - The first step is to transfer 12 ZIP files To RBT folder and click OK ?
2 - What to do with .z0 files In size 4.37 GB That are in 12 folders ?

The .z?? and .zip files are a multipart zip set; they need to be unzipped. After unzipping you end up with 12 files: 11 of 107GB size and 1 of 103GB size. Like this:

Hi Psilos2003

as you know My questions are beginner's questions !
When I started downloading all the files It took me two weeks to finish all the downloads

I created 12 separate folders 11 folders 18 files = z01 to z18
And in the last 12 folder 17 files = z01 to z17
Includes ZIP files CSA_B8hxFFh_1000h_00000000h_15666665h Until CSA_B8hxFFh_1000h_EB666662h_FFFFFFFFh To make order With all these files

After reading Documentation_V1.00 I understand in the first phase put all 12 ZIP files in the RBT folder Extract all files and to do
enter 107 click 11 times
enter 103 click one time
Click “OK” and the files will be created very fast.

The main question

What to do after that with the other z01 to z18 files ?
Do all these files remain in the same 12 folders ?
or These files need to be moved Later To the RBT folder ?
And change their extension from .. z to RBT2 ?

Hi, create dir RBT2,double click on the file without number and extract to folder RBT2, wait for extraction, do this for all 12 parts.

I tried without numbers at first But unfortunately it did not go well for me After that I was able to create RBT2 files Only with numbers 107-103 In folders 1-2 But then something unpleasant happened Z0 files that were 4.37 GB in size Have become 106 GB Folder 1 = 1.25 TB Folder 2 = 1.25 TB And now my hard drive is full to zero I think I made a mistake with the z0 files....see attached pictures

How to solve the problem ?

Is it necessary to add to the list z0-z18 files To change them to the RBT2 extension ? Or leave those files In 12 folders And use them In another way ?

The documentation is a little confusing but I think the correct way to do this is to follow the instructions on pg 17 for the "Name" command instead of the ones on pg 7 for the "New" command. The "New" command is used to create a set of empty rbt2 files, which is pointless now that Colibri stopped adding chains in the chainauthor.map file. If I understand it right, the "Name" command is used to give a name to the .rbt2 files you get after downloading and extracting.

Also, to answer your last question, each 19 files (.z00 to .z18 and the corresponding .zip) will extract one .rbt2 file.

For example, from the

files you download, you open the .zip file and extract the CSA_B8hxFFh_1000h_00000000h_15666665h.rbt2 file. Repeat for all other 19-file sets. Put all .rtb2 files in one folder. Use the Name command.

Such problems are difficult to solve When only two people respond to this issue Without uploading photos Maybe there was a big mistake Open this topic at all During the period of corona virus When people are deeply depressed They have no desire to respond to messages Because they stay home all the time :)

Documentation_V1.00 is very complicated For people With beginner's questions Another example is Section 9 When later in Documentation_V1.00 There are 8 more sections :)

1 zip-file set consists of 19 files: 1 .zip file and the 18 .z01 - z.18 files. You open the .zip file with winrar and extract from it 1 .rbt2 file. Winrar knows to open .z01 after .zip, then .z02 and so on. The .rbt2 files will be ~106GB. You repeat this 11 more times and end up with 12 .rbt2 files (the last one is a little smaller, 103GB).

Do NOT follow step "RBT creation" on pg 7. This is to create a blank empty rbt set. After you have the 12 .rbt2 files from the process above use the "Name" step on pg 17.

Thank you for your post Psilos2003! I am working on my RBT and was just about to do step 7. You saved me a lot of unnecessary work. I have downloaded and unpacked all of V2. I have 36 files (12 for B8hx00h)(12 for B8hxFFh)(12 for B8hx030000h).

I tried to download the parts of the table B8hx30000h but several links are no longer active!

I decided to try to create the table!
