skystar usb hd ci windows 8.1 x64 problem

Hi All,

I bought a skystar usb hd ci and installed it on Windows 8.1 x64 with the latest drivers but when i execute DvbViewer Pro and try to scan channels the system gives me the BSOD

Solved

Here is the solution :

1- the card must be plugged on USB 2.0 port

2- in the UEFI Bios search for the xHCI parameter and set it to Disabled

3- you can install the skystar usb driver or the Azurewave driver they are both compatible

hope this helps other people avoid alot of pain
