I use the wifi at my holiday home park, but it doesnt stream very well at all. I dont have a direct view of the server in the park office,and I am about 600 metres away round a corner, but I get 5 bars signal strength? On broadband checker the needle fluctuates wildly between 300,000 and 1.5m even with 5 bars.
Its Ok for email etc but I do like to stream the football on my laptop which is not possible at the moment. (Idont have a big dish there)so I cant use my TM box
The server is 24mg which is strong, so I wondered if I got a USB wi-fi ariel would it improve the signal (even though its 5 bars now) Any thoughts welcome.
