The one you like the most try them all.
I use OpenATV my favourite image was Blackhole for years but far too many bugs now for me. Although i may try the OpenBlackhole image at some point as it appears to be based on OpenPLI.

There is no "better" image .
The best image is the one that is better for you and best suited to your interests .
You can , indeed must , try different images and choose the one you like more: it is the best way.
If you follow the advice of others, everyone will tell you that the image he uses is the best one: basically it is like asking the innkeeper if his wine is good .
