Default 1 Lnb -> Two tuners (possible ? )

Hello,
I would like to know if it would be possible with my configuration (Single Lnb on Astra 19.2e) to split sat cable with a switch in two sat cables to use the two tuners, so when i record a movie on Astra i would not be limited to watch only to the same transponder during the record.
Thanks
Ced

Default Yes

you need a LNB with two (dual) or four (quad) independent outputs. You need also to install a multi-switch, or without multi-switch 2 coaxial cables connected to the LNB and to each receiver.
With single LNB not possible.

Splitters do not work with 2 tuners from one Lnb,
When one signal is Horizontal & the other is Vertical.

A dual output Lnb is the best answer.

While this is correct for universal lnbs.

As gil27 points out a unicable LNB can feed multiple tuners down a single cable with the use of splitters.

Thank you very much for your answers, i heard most of csat channels are vertical if not all, so unicable would work perfectly, at least better than beeing restricted to only one transponder when i am recording Blue bloods
