logging in telnet to the Vu duo

hi just changed the image from open pli to dream elite and cant connect to the box with Dcc whereas I could with pli. How do I find the username and password

DCC needs a password to work with any image. So you'll need to gibe the DE image a pass.

This needs to be done be telnet you can use a stand alone telnet ap like putty.

Filezilla will connect without the image having a password DCC wont.

If filezilla wont connect then check your VU network settings and reboot all your kit Router and VU.

hi mate

when dcc bootup
clear the password
press reconnect
go into telnet
after the curser type passwd
it will ask for password type your password
it will ask for it again retype your password
it will confirm
then goto configuration and reconnect.
that should be it.
