Euro 2016 and 4K

So regarding the Euro 2016 coming up in a few weeks, do we know if anyone will broadcast in 4k over satellite?

If so, on receivers, I saw that [ame="http://www.amazon.de/HUMAX-Digital-Bluetooth-Server-Wechselfestplatte/dp/B01C47RD7E/ref=sr_1_1"]new Humax on 300 EUR[/ame].
It's half price from that VU SOLO 4K, but I guess it lacks support in images/cams...

What do you think?

Yeah, doesn't worth to buy a 4k receiver.
One reason : Sharing doesn't work anymore so you will not have what to watch other that demo's.
Second reason : We don't know yet if the 4k feeds will be in DVB-S2 or will be in NS3.

RTP of Portugal will broadcast it in 4K

SRF2 of SRG will also bd 8 machtes...but only on Swisscom IPTV

I thought VU Solo 4K does all the "cam" stuff...

Viewing some channels here they all seem to be DVB-S2 and HEVC.
Isn't that the standard yet?

RTP 4K already on hispasat with test pattern. 12.284 h 27.500 3/4 s2 8psk seca and nagra encrypted. Working well with Meo card. Sharing with Vu+ 4k no problem.

Basically, all of Europe have the euros in 4k apart from the uk, we have to watch a 4k foreign channel.Leading the way as usual....

4k World feeds are sent using a top right, top left, bottom right bottom left stream each 1 is HD res 1920x1080. These 4 streams then need to get stitched together to form 1 3840x2160. The Hevc 4k feeds you find have been encoded from the quad streams.

some early uhd demo channels were in quad stream. You could only view 1 at a time unless you had correct hardware

Sport tv 4K test on same transponder now. Will show Champions League finale in 4K at saturday. Seca and nagra encrypted as well.

So even streaming it to PC wont work?
