DM800 lan port not working

Hi guys, I have a dm800 hd sim 2.0.1 and the ethernet port does not work, I tried to flash different images through dream up and the lan port seems to be dead, it flashes the two lights behind when I plug in for a few seconds and then the light go off and no internet through lan. I did buy a wireless dongle VAP11G but have no luck yet, I don't know well if it is supposed to work only through usb port or it needs the lan port also, can anyone explain me please if this usb wireless dongle or others can make work a dreambox with the lan port dead only through the usb port?? Thank you!

The Vonets VAP11G works for sure on E2 recievers, the only thing i don't know is can this work only from usb or the lan port is needed as it has two wires one usb and one lan cable.
