Scientists have discovered a deadly fly parasite which is said to be turning honey bess into mindless 'zombies'.
Researchers from San Francisco State University say the parasite starts off by laying its’ eggs inside the abdomen of bee.
The bees then flee their hive and are left walking round in circles and seeking out bright lights.
After the bees eventually die, the pupae emerge from their heads. Which is nice.
"They kept stretching them out and then falling over," said Andrew Core who observed the bees. "It really painted a picture of something like a zombie.
