Oscam EMU Test

Some of you completely miss the point of this testing...

You have powervu problems because you don't know how to correctly setup your emu reader (and oscam-emu in general).

So start by posting your complete config folder and a live log, if you want anyone to help you.

I deleted and reboot the box... and Des channels were working ok with sound and picture!!!

dm520 , works fine
afn , discover on 0,8E works.
from powervu switch to other system works ok.

After r775 i added disablecrccws_only_for = 0E00:000000 in my readers. Somewhere after that I believe I read that instruction was not needed anymore...

But you are correct: I have lack of knowledge about oscam... I will try improve...

No more reboot needed for box after watching powervu channels

Since i change to the lastest Oscam Emu (11505 from 28/02) i get this:

(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR_MODE): Invalid argument

Can i fix it with some configuration change?

No, you can't at the moment, but is everything working ok for you? What is your box?

There will be some updates in the related code in oscam(-emu), in the near future. If this error is still present, report again. I'll let you know when these updates come.

Sorry nautilus7 but only today i noticed a major problem in my oscam emu:

When i back from Discovery channel´s to different encryption channel´s i need reboot the box... like before version 11504 with emu 790

I back to the previous version and everything is working ok!!

Can anyone tell me where the softcam plugin to switch the Oscam 'ON' is in the Octagon SF8008. I think it is 'blue button'
then what?

on my 8008 with vix image its blue button-softcam manager choose oscam -green button(to start)- yellow button to restart-

I only have software manager on my OpenATV Image....
