Crypt 8 issues

Recording .TS files for known BISS feeds and running files for crypt 8 cant be found. I have tried recording in both EBS Pro and TS Reader. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but over the past 6 months, I went from getting crypt 8's to none when running the file through CSA Rainbow.

What Alternative methods are there to finding crypt 8's? When Running through version 1 I check all payload sizes, but version 2 doesn't have that option. When I run crypt8 the green bar goes across then nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I should add that I'm recording files for at least 2 min, and the majority of the time the file sizes are 1gb.

You have the same problem that I can't solve now. ENC-1 (MX1), ctypt8 like this can hardly be found. I tried to record TS files for 30 minutes, but I still got nothing. I don't know how others get it. It's better to have a course to learn.

BISS AU boxes do, the Vuelta feed is one in question, no valid C8 but BISS AU still gets it anyway.

100.5C, 4174H7200, ID: ktsat mp4 enc1. I tried to record TS for 20 minutes but I still couldn't find C8, but others had already found CW. I'm really curious about my mistake.I admire him very much. The point is that no one can share the way, only others can depend on him.:吞:

The key on that ktsat basketball feed hasn't changed since the tournament started - it's an old key which has previously been used on Korean football back in July too. Whilst waiting for a candidate crypt8, you should try brute force against a list of old keys. That can give the key very quickly.

There are many different encoders in use - not all give out a crypt8 readily, some not at all (and by design eg with padding bytes transmitted unencrypted like the current Vuelta feed). You might have to wait until such time as the video includes some static graphics, eg test card or graphical event info, rather than live video. If you missed an opening test card you might only get C8s when the feed goes down, showing a final test card or black screen. In such case, add the key to your knowns.txt... it might be used again.

Don't think so.
Somebody on the "other" side founds a CW of a specific feed ( through a valid C8 ) and send it to the box server.
AGREE ?
OkK :)
Vuelta feeds , just like Turkish feeds or plenty of others, sends data, to gave a valid ( good ) C8 in well known time frame. Hope you know when perfect timing is. I do.:)

vakula, this is what I see on 7.0E 12736V 7200 ENC-4 (MX1) right now. This is similar to the current Vuelta feed, and some of the Turkish feeds (amongst others).
It's BISS encrypted, but the padding is sent unencrypted:

I don't use Colibri tools, I wrote my own... from memory the Colibri rbt tools *exclude* unencrypted packets, so you won't see the plaintext padding unless you inspect the .ts with a hex editor.

The crypted C8s reported I assume are repeat patterns in the video (looks like it's a test card currently). As soon as I see encoders like this I give up... and wait for someone with one of the magic boxes to post :D

@ 7.0E 12736V 7200 ENC-4 (MX1)

But dark screens ..nothing useful being sent at this moment...Feed is in Waiting feed ID will likely change again soon to old WWE Smackdown ident and key later as usual
i suspect so nothing to be concerned about right now i believe .

You don't even know which method the server use to find valid CW.
As far as I know, cudabiss can find a cw without a crypt8.I mean I can do it with public tools.
And if cudabiss can do it,then I don't agree with you.
I disagree.

Well, I continued to monitor the feed (now Serie-A highlights as barney reported). During match highlights, the encoder behaved the same, plaintext padding. BUT, during the countdown-clock-to-next-segment (part 2/4 etc), the crypted B8hxFFh etc came by the bucketload. I guess those graphics come off a different encoder & are spliced in to the ts... maybe?

"Magic boxes" that costs 20$ ? vs plenty of $ for ex. your's configuration ?
Not sure.
But ok.
CW were founded. And that's the god one thing.
Agree?

My impressions are that owners of this kind of boxes are not very welcome here.
I'm wrong?

Can I propose a little challenge to the admins here?

It would be nice if every single biss feed post, contain CW & and a valid C8 to be regullary posted.
Or to clearly noticed if CW was found whith AU or with old school methods.
So we could compare a % of one or others.
What do ya think ? :)
