What can make Oscam not to start.
I've been replacing the bin file and changing the attributes as recommended, and this has worked until 11529.
The latest releases cannot start on Solo4K and VIX.
Any help is appreciated.

In the last version of juli oscam, in powervu, Afn Is black. Works perfectly for Discovery at 4.8 East and the rest package... Maybe Afn has change again the hash?

Hello, can anyone plz help with pvu format for oscampowervu-mips version 11537 I need to add key to softcam.key file but not sure of what to add?

not sure what values to add because of the **** values? I have key and other values, satellite is 40.5W but not in softcam.key file, vpid = 09C4, apid = 09DE, service id = 0070, namespace = 0C7A0F03

The **** is the 4 digit group that is user defined and at the time the ecm key is not known yet, it can be anything. Hence the asterisks.

The new powervu key method is not enabled in your case probably because you have not set a group for this transponder. Refer to the oscam-emu wiki in github to for more info.

The oscam-emu wiki says that I need to create a group ID for the channel that utilises a hash based on tsid, onid and enigma namespace of the transponder

P <hash> GROUP <groupid>

wiki also says the hash is calculated automatically by oscam-emu and that it is displayed using debug level 2. This is where I am stuck, how do I get to display debug level 2? Is it in the oscam webif or on TV using OpenViX on screen menus?

UPDATE:
Found debug level 2 in oscam webif, livelog, settings. channel hash is DCD2F18D I will try to configure softcam.key file

I read wiki and try to add new lines to softcam.key file for satellite 40.5W, transponder 3843L. Got the hash for the transponder (DCD2F18D), added new lines including two dummy ecm keys but no picture. I have pasted my new lines of softcam. key below, is there any error with lines plz?

You're good now.

If these channels still open with oscam-emu, then you just have to wait until new ecm keys are found via the auto update function.

Has option to edit softcam.key file from oscam webinterface been deleted? For last version of oscampowervu-mips there is no softcam.key file in the list from Files -> Other Files? It used to be possible to edit softcam.key from this menu.

I have open vix version of oscampowervu-mips.

Hi,
I'm trying to restart my oscam by a normal script (not by the standard procedure in the BLUE panel.
I've found a lot of material but about it but each has a problem.

Or, it would be good also, as an alternative, just a way to re-read the oscam.server file.

Is there a way to create a script for one of these two scenarios?

hi all,

last DE 6 on my dm 920 but still have the problem to start/stop oscam by remote control (no green button after starting oscam by remote control).

in /lib/systemd/system i've two files (oscam.service and oscam.socket) and same name of oscam as bin but no solution !!

any suggestion to solve this problem ?

hi all,

OK oscam-emu and oscam.service for autoboot in Telnet with 920UHD.

But I need a correct script 's syntax (/lib/system/systemd) to start oscam-emu (green/red button in DE panel) by remote control.

with last DE 6.0 and oscam-emu no way to start/stop oscam directly by remote control ![/B]

at the moment the latest version is 11552
delete old oscam usr/bin/, rename oscam-svn11552-dream_one-xxxxxx- to oscam , copy to usr/bin/ change atributes 755, and restart

since 11561 all recent versions don't work with sofcam.key?
Or is there any new config for latest versions?
