Thx to gutemine:

Barry Allen for Dreambox 7025
Version 0.0.5 by gutemine from 25.03.2007
====================================================
Release infos
====================================================
0.0.1 Methamorpho = very first version, just
for stabbility testing of chrooting
of Enigma2 Images !!!!
0.0.2 add nfi image extract - and other features
0.0.5 make bootmanager testable
====================================================
The English Documentation is below the German one

1) Prerequisites
----------------

A working Multiboot Environment with Images
on a CF Card ist NOT needed anymore for testing this
kit of Barry Allen. Currently
Neutrino images cann't be started with Barry Allen.

This is a Test to find out how stable Images can run in a
chrooted environment from CF Card on top of the Flash Kernel.

Barry Allen is started at the moment manually, hence
if you experience troubles a simple reboot should
bring you back to normal Flash Boot.

And you can deinstall Barry Allen at any time when booted
from flash and ba.sh is NOT executed !

ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen

2) Installation
---------------

First boot from Flash and then copy the file
enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk
to /tmp with ftp (TCP/IP must be working already).

If you have an image in Flash that offers a Blue
Pannel Manual Addon Install, then you can use this
functionality to install the ipk file.

If not, then install Barry Allen by entering the
following commands in a Telnet session:

cd /
ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk

3) Usage
--------

After the installation of the Barry Allen kit
you can when you are booted from Flash extract nfi
Images from /MB_Images (normally a link to
/media/hdd/MB_Images):

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract nameoftheimage

Then you can force on top of the
Flash kernel any extracted image from your CF card
(like Flashwizzard and Dreamflash are doing it)
by executing the following:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh start nameoftheimage

Or simply reboot and use the Barry Allen bootmanager.

Please then simply close the telnet session and check if the
Image from CF Card can be used as normal.

====================================================
WARNING - Barry Allen is NOT yet for inexperienced
users, and should therefore be tested only
by experienced Multiboot users.
====================================================
Have Fun testing these first Versions of
Barry Allen on the Dreambox 7025 !!!!
====================================================

This 0.0.6 has some bug fixed. Anyway, read the warning, and use with caution.

NEW Barry Allen, the second Flash !
====================================================
Barry Allen for Dreambox 7025
====================================================
Version 0.1.0-r3 by gutemine from 08.04.2007
====================================================
Release infos
====================================================
0.1.0 first official Version
====================================================
1) Prerequisites
----------------

During the installation there has to be CF
card in the Dreambox (attention: insert or remove
into Dreambox 7025 cardreader only when Dreambox
is turned off), or an USB stick which is successfully
detected (in case of problems try an USB Hub).

If Barry Allen on USB is used then put preferably
the CVS Image from OoZooN in Flash, because this image
has the USB drivers permanently built into the kernel.

If neither CF card not USB Stick are attached then
installation takes place on the Harddisk. Because
the images then also run from there it will run
permanently and it could be necessary that you disable
Harddisk Standby in the images to allow running Barry
Allen stable from Harddisk.

2) Installation
---------------

First boot from Flash and then copy the file
enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk
to /tmp with ftp (TCP/IP must be working already).

If you have an image in Flash that offers a Blue
Pannel Manual Addon Install, then you can use this
functionality to install the ipk file.

If not, then install Barry Allen by entering the
following commands in a Telnet session:

cd /
ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen*.ipk

Then restart enigma2 and the Barry Allen Plugin
shoudl show up under Games / Plugins.

In the Images installed by Barry Allen you don't have
to install the Barry Allen Plugin anymore.
The Barry Allen Plugin integrates himself into then
automatically during the image extract.

And you can remove Barry Allen if you are booted
from Flash:

ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen

3) Usage
--------

There is now the enigma2 Plugin of Barry Allen included
under Games / Plugins of the enigma2 menu,
which offers the info, boot, extract and
restart functionality of Barry Allen.

For extracting of nfi images in Barry Allen copy the
image files to /MB_Images (normally a link to
/media/hdd/MB_Images created during Barry Allen
installation)

If there are Problems with image extraction with the
enigma2 plugin try doing it in telnet:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract nameoftheimage

On the next reboot this new Image should be available
in the bootmanager for choosing to boot it and then it
can be customized and used as usual.

The Bootmanager now should remember the last booted
image and hence recordings from Deepstandby should work
now.

====================================================
Have Fun using Barry Allen
on the Dreambox 7025 !!!!

Note:
Since July 2007 in the images a new compressing procedure is used. To recognize by A) OE 1,5 instead of OE 1,4 and b) the images are clearly smaller (approx. 5MB less). By this change most Plugins Barry everything is no longer executable and also has thereby problems. Therefore there is a version now 4.1 rx.
Since Barry everything uses the Kernel of the image from the Flashspeicher, this image the routines of the new compressing procedure must beeinhalten and thus one of the current CVS images of BoxMan, OoZooN or SVCS its (pays attention to OE 1,5). On the CF-map naturally also images may be older Entwicklungstand (OE 1,4) like Gemini-2.40, LT-team, Ronaldd or the original image its (before July 2007 appeared).

Barry Allen for Dreambox V4.5.1

Barry Allen for Dreambox 7025, 7020, 600 and 800

Version 4.5.1 by gutemine from 17.05.2008

Because this must then ipk files nachinstalliert
which just need some space - and now also in flash
funzt because the 800 has since also plenty of parking.
The shellscript language imBA implement the flash of 7025
therefore, continue with caution to use images in CF
USB / HDD has looked at anyway so no space problems.

And a little feature I dazugemacht if you OoZooN Lean
(without WebIF but you can download) in flash and in the
recruitment of Wizzard WebIF the BA chooses, provided the
box line is equal to the corresponding webinterface ipk
nachgeladen and with the BA WebIF patched.

Thanks to noggie for his nfi file tools !
Thanks to DarkVolli for the enigma1 plugin !

1) Prerequisites

During the installation there has to be CF
card in the Dreambox (attention: insert or remove
into Dreambox 7025 cardreader only when Dreambox
is turned off), or an USB stick which is successfully
detected (in case of problems try an USB Hub).

If Barry Allen on USB is used then put
the CVS Image from OoZooN in Flash, because this image
has the USB drivers permanently built into the kernel.

If neither CF card not USB Stick are attached then
installation takes place on the Harddisk. Because
the images then also run from there it will run
permanently and it could be necessary that you disable
Harddisk Standby in the images to allow running Barry
Allen stable from Harddisk.

2) Installation

3) Usage

There is now the enigma2 Plugin of Barry Allen included
under Games / Plugins of the enigma2 menu,
which offers the full functionality of Barry Allen.

For extracting of nfi images in Barry Allen copy the
image files to /MB_Images (normally a link to
/media/hdd/MB_Images created during Barry Allen
installation)

If there are Problems with image extraction or other tasks
with the enigma2 plugin try doing it in telnet:

cd /media/ba
ba.sh extract nameoftheimage

On the next reboot this new Image should be available
in the bootmanager for choosing to boot it and then it
can be customized and used as usual.

The Bootmanager now should remember the last booted
image and hence recordings from Deepstandby should work
now.

Have Fun using Barry Allen on the Dreambox !!!!
