I have been using DVB Dream for many years. I am starting to see more and more UHD channels. My PC is connected to a 1080p Samsung tv via an Nvidia GTX Geforce 660 TI connected with hdmi. I have a TBS 6982 dual tuner. Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with 12 gb ram. AMD Phenom II 1055T 6 core processor. I know it is kinda old but it is what I have. Currently when I tune into an UHD channel via satellite card, the cpu usage sky rockets and video choppy and audio not synced. That satellite I am looking at is 101w 4120-v-30000. I do use LAV decoders 73.1.14. Has anyone gotten smooth playback in DVB Dream? I want to go to GTX 1080 but if not going to help, why waste money as I am not a gamer in any way.
