  • Re compressed some graphics again - I keep getting this wrong :face with rolling eyes:
  • Removed toy skin - it was just for a bit of fun originally. But it is large and doesn't compress well. I will create a seperate pbi if people still use it for their little ones. :face screaming in fear:
  • Moved vod cover default image into common files rather than a skinable image to reduce overall size
  • added translation text into user info page
  • corrected "restart gui required" so its correctly translated in all the settings options
  • Put a catch in for bad providers who show series categories, but all series categories are empty
  • Fixed an epg issue, where is was displaying the same entry for now and next for some providers
  • changed infobar timeout to 3 seconds. And no longer reflects image infobar timeout
  • Back or stop button, now stops vod and creates a resume point instead

This now follows the same logic for unique refs that I use in my BMX plugin.
2 exact same urls from the 2 different plugins will now have the same unique reference.
It is advised to delete any existing xstreamity files in the epgimport folder and let my program remake them from scratch.

active/max connections bad data - fixed
Parental control logic picking up "all" in channels like football/Fusball/Allgemeines etc. - fixed
Missing default function variables causing crashes - i.e the hide channels page - parental pin - bug mentioned above - fixed (there was a few of them)

So you either set the time to update epg or set the epg to download on boot. Your box might be a little sluggish for a couple of mins if boot option selected.
And for people asking if I can add multiple epg times. This download on boot can fix your request to. Because you just need to restart your gui.
Quite a good request as people are trying to save money by turning their boxes fully off nowadays.

Added sport to the safe words, so won't accidently get picked up by the adult pin
Added enablewraparound to downloader
Added a default series last_modified value that was missing. Some providers are not providing this information so was crashing (github request)
Added a catch around the making of XMLTV files to fix a crash if there is bad data in the provider files.

fixed my crashes I brought in, in my last rushed release.
All translations that have been posted this week have been added

v4.36
fixed hidden icons being displayed wrong.
hide hidden things from some "All" lists
should have fixed that crash everyone was mentioning. You probably need to reboot gui afterwards.

  • Refactored all files to have more professional and concise python code.
  • Better error handling
  • Completely new and condensed dependancy file
  • Amended favourites - should behave a little better
  • Amended downloadlocation code - should remember your chosen option now after reboot.
  • Amended custom sids code if badly formatted
  • Amended language translation script (might break on dreambox)
  • Better code for stripping unneeded characters from titles.
  • Stop live stream if previewed before playing. This allows the stream to be added to recently watched.
  • Fixed a typo in main menu skin (all screen sizes)
  • Amended picons and cover art resize code.
  • Sorting is now case insensitive. So now lower case don't end up at the end of the list
  • Better handling of incorrect date strings that some providers are incorrectly using when using Hybrid APIs
  • Added from __future__ import division - so python 2.7 and python 3.* all function the same
  • Replaced string formating %s with {} .format for future compatibility
  • Removed "MENU" button from streamplayers. It causes too many issues and my code needs to be linear for XKLASS
  • Removed return back to playing stream via the back button.
  • Added in a new MoviePlayerSummary screen for lcds - no idea if this works or not.
  • Rounded Movie ratings to 1 decimal place
  • Split out the players into 3 files again. Liveplayer. VodPlayer. CatchupPlayer.
  • Catchup is a mess nowadays - offsets are all over the show. New option added. Channel up and channel down buttons will timeshift the catchup by 10 minutes (reloading it with the new time). Plus 10 mins or minus 10 mins.
