FAQ update via RS232 (HyperTerminal)

with WinXP under

1.Start> Programs> Accessories> Communications> HyperTerminal
then opens up with a new window:
2.Neue connection (eg, enter name OpticumHD) OK.
3.Verbinden with (the Com Port Select) confirm with OK.
4.Eigenschaften of COM1 (or whatever with you on the PC is connected):
Bits per second: 115200 Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control: No
All OK. Now your HyperTerminal is set up for the 9600th Opticum

For Win7 or XP you can also use these HyperTerminal: Click

Now we come to update the receiver.

1. Receiver in the off state combined with a null modem cable.
2. In HyperTerminal file transfer to send ... Click
3. select when File Name: Upload File (eg for the 9600 HD is clicking fs2_3.19 (before unpacking not forget)).
4. Log in: Select Zmodem with recovery.
5. Click Send
6. Power button and hold on the front
7. Power switch on the back.
8. Release Power button on the front when the display 0000th
Updating begins ...
After a successful update, the display of the receiver "WAIT" up to 60 seconds
After the receiver reboots and the new firmware is on it

What software do you need to play .avi ? With decoder opticum 9600HD TS ?
