need help echolink 7112

Hi,

I am new to all this,

I would like to upgrade my echolink el-7112 hd receiver.
how ever, i dont know how to do it and what software to use.

also does it unlock channels,
as i simply want national geographic channel to appear.
is it possible?

please guide me.
