Hi Dreamer,

I don't want to make changes to the emu version ... I want to know how to build one xxx_firmare_emu version ... or how to add emulator to an existing firmware which does not have one ... or simply, how to patch one without emu, in order to get one with _emu ...

For my amiko model, exist one firmware without emulator (the original one) and another one firmware with emulator included. The second one ... how can be done?

Regards,
Alx

for what you need assembler , disassembler here - it is simply compressed with lzma

delete first bytes until you see 6C ... then unpack the maincode with lzma and you are finished :)

Hi testi,

how did you do deleted first 6bytes? Are you using a hex editor for that or what tool exactly?

Thanks, Alx

:) "the guy ago ..." that's me Alx :) ...don't want to know: HOW TO UNPACK ALL EMULATORS from abs file! I only want to know ... the process followed by some members here, in order to process AMIKO_HD8200_Series_1.5.26_conax.abs and get AMIKO_HD8200_Series_1.5.26_emu.abs!

As time firmware_xxx_EMU.abs is released immediately after original one appeared, is easier to understand that someone patched original one! How?

Alx
